Laughter Yoga will, of course, live on here at Isabella thanks to your comprehensive and informative training workshop presented to the staff.  It has reduced staff stress, decreased resident isolation, and fostered a closer bond between staff and residents.

On behalf of the patients and staff, I want to thank you for bringing Laughter Yoga to Rockland Psychiatric Center.  You have helped us to understand & truly believe in the therapeutic value of laughter, not to mention the pure fun of it all.

At a recent in-service training session, I was so pleased to see staff's positive reaction to your informative presentation along with their roars of laughter as they engaged in practicing several Laughter Yoga techniques.  Staff assigned to work with you on a regular basis in the Thursday night Laughter Yoga Club also wanted me to thank you for the techniques you have taught them and for the opportunity to witness first hand so many positive patient outcomes & patient testimonies.  They found your energy awesome and look forward to having you back.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm & professional approach to this rather hilarious but very effective method of treatment.  You have helped our patients find ways to relieve stress through laughter.  They have learned how laughter can help elevate their mood, foster optimism, increase self confidence, and improve cognitive thinking, not to mention the secondary physical gains as a result of the aerobic exercise involved in their Laughter Yoga session.

Hi Jodi – Thank you so much for coming to New Rochelle to do the workshop. The participants had a great time, they said it was  “lots of fun”, “new way of looking at things” “should bring you back”. I’ve never seen the group so expressive and interactive. Basically people look to have a good time, whenever possible, and your exercises were very effective for getting people into the act. I liked your explanation regarding the body, health, stress, and mindset connections since these are areas that we have covered in our other programs. Thank you again for your workshop, your efforts were greatly appreciated.  Looking forward to working with you again.

As a professional entertainer, who clowns in hospitals,  I know the value of laughter and revel in its sound. The Laughter Club reminds us of the fun of being a child, the joy of being spontaneous, and the delight of laughing.
